Located in beautiful Golden Bay, Hack Farm is an eco farmstay and animal-friendly campground just a short walk or ride from Patons Rock beach and serves as the perfect base for your next Horse Riding Holiday. We offer a number of holistic horse experiences from guided treks on our team of highly trained horses, to Vaulting, Horsemanship and Riding lessons or simply bring your own horse and enjoy our easily accessible trails that will allow you to explore the beauty of the ever-changing coastal landscape on horseback.
We offer riders of all experience levels opportunities to learn more about the foundations of good horsemanship whilst experiencing stunning coastal scenery on horseback. With a focus on teaching light and balanced riding, our guided holistic horse riding experiences are so much more than just a trail ride.
Baerbel Hack
We’ve seen time and time again how transformational the sense of confidence and self-awareness gained by finding your balance and expression on horseback has on individuals of all ages and particularly for kids and Baerbel is passionate about sharing this magic with others.
The ‘Hack Vaulties’ club first came together in 2015 under the guidance of Baerbel Hack with the aim of making horse riding accessible to riders from all walks of life – regardless of their financial means or prior experience.
What we offer
Guided beach and trail rides, farmstay and camping, bring-your-own-horse holidays, riding and horsemanship lessons, kids camps, and vaulting — all based at our property near Paton's Rock in Golden Bay, New Zealand.
